Goodbye Scumbag, Hello True Love
Urban Romance"I'm so over Cassandra." Aidan Ziegler sneers, swirling his wine glass with a lazy smirk. "A real woman is soft and sweet—like Clara. As for her..." In the corner, a glass suddenly shatters in a man's palm. Cassandra Callum stands frozen, holding the cake she made to celebrate their three-year anniversary, eyes locked on the blood trickling down from his sharply defined fingers. Tristan Freeman, head of Freeman Group, slowly wipes his hand clean. His dark gaze sweeps over her tear-reddened eyes. "Ms. Callum, would you like to marry me?" The city explodes with gossip. Everyone thinks a broke little designer has climbed her way into wealth and power— what no one knows is that this marriage is a trap Tristan set five years ago. His private gallery holds over a thousand sketches of her profile—from that day in sophomore year when she crouched in a rainy alley feeding a stray cat, to her backstage at a runway abroad, gently arranging jewelry. Late at night, he stares at security footage, cigarette in hand, as Aidan kneels in a storm, soaked and shaking. Tristan suddenly pulls his delicate wife into his arms. Later, a finance reporter captures the once cold and ruthless Tristan, down on one knee before Cassandra. His hands tremble as he holds a pregnancy test. Cassandra flashes her wedding ring and laughs softly. "Surprised, Mr. Freeman?" Tristan, once known for being sharp and vicious, blinks back tears, then presses a trembling kiss to the faded mark on her ring finger. "Cassie, when you were 22, I wanted to say..." "Say what?" He leans in, his voice hoarse as he whispers, "The cake was really sweet."

Farewell to a Heart That Was Never Mine
Urban RomanceKnown in circles as a seductress, Jasmine Booth has red lips that are curved in a teasing smile and eyes that draw one in. Caesar Snee is the most outstanding heir of a powerful family. He's cold and restrained, like an untouchable gem sitting atop his throne. No one would ever guess that these two polar opposites secretly tangle in the backseat of a Maybach late at night, claw at each other in the restroom of a charity gala, and lose control in front of the windows of a private vineyard. Each time, her legs go weak as he grips her waist and has his way with her. After yet another night of indulgence, the sound of running water echoes from the bathroom. Jasmine leans against the headboard and calls her father."I can marry that dying Schuman of Southmere as a bride, but I have one condition."On the other end, her father can barely hide his joy. "Name it! As long as you're willing to marry him, you can have anything you want!""I'll explain everything when I'm home." Her voice is soft and sweet-sounding, but her gaze is icy cold.Just as Jasmine ends the call and reaches for her clothes, she catches sight of Caesar's laptop left open beside her. A WhatsApp message glows on screen, sent by a woman saved under the name "Sabrina"."Caesar, there's thunder. I'm so scared…"Jasmine's fingers tremble as she reads this. The bathroom door swings open, and Caesar walks out. Water drips from his collarbone, and his shirt is casually unbuttoned at the top. His usual restrained demeanor is now laced with a touch of languid carelessness."Something happened at work. I have to go," he says, voice still cool and distant as he picks up his suit jacket.Jasmine curls her lips slightly. "Is it really work, or are you going to see your first love?"

Sorry, but There's No Going Back
RomanceIn the second year of their marriage, Angelica Thornton finds out that she's just a walking blood bank for others. Her husband, Elliot Quigley, has personally fed her steroids, forcing her weight to rise all the way to 160 pounds. This is all just so she can keep providing blood to his older stepsister-slash-first love, Rosie Morris. He even tells Angelica, "Who on earth would be turned on when they see a fat bitch like you?" But Elliot also kneels before Rosie's bed in the middle of the night, looking like a kicked puppy. "Rosie, I've never slept with Angelica before. Please don't abandon me…" Since then, Angelica's heart has been sealed from love. She decides to get a divorce and vows to shed those pounds. A long time after that, Angelica stands on the stage, looking absolutely divine. Her figure is now slim, yet she has curves in all the right places. Elliot's eyes go bloodshot out of regret. He kneels before her on a rainy night, crying, "Angie, you're the one I've always loved!" Suddenly, a hand shoots out from behind Angelica to lay claim on her slender waist. A pair of eyes can be seen glaring at Elliot coldly. Elliot is stunned, to say the least. "U-Uncle Dominic?" … Dominic Lawson has been emotionally impaired since birth. He himself has an antisocial son named Skye Lawson. Weirdly enough, Skye loves clinging to Angelica the most. Dominic thinks that Skye needs a mother in his life. But in the end, he's the one who has succumbed to Angelica's charms. In the middle of the night, as Dominic pulls Angelica into his arms, he murmurs huskily, "Angie, teach me how to… love."

A Joke That Nearly Killed Me
Urban RomanceI'm a photographer who has been specifically invited by Native Geographic to hike up Mount Morac in order to take a cover photo for the next issue. Halfway up the mountain, I feel short of breath, and my heart keeps hammering in my chest. At the same time, I can feel my temples pulsing rapidly. Realizing that these are the symptoms of altitude sickness, I quickly dig out an oxygen canister and inhale from it sharply. But as soon as the gas hits my lungs, I realize that something is wrong. Immediately, I turn to look at my fiance, Julian Gray. "What the hell is this?" Strangely enough, my voice comes out shrill and high-pitched. I sound just like a cartoon character. As soon as Julian and his junior colleague, Bianca Reed, hear my voice, they burst out in laughter. "Ahahaha! Oh my god, you're too funny! Hahahah!" Both of them holler in laughter. Bianca even starts hammering the snowy ground in a dramatic fashion. I instantly realize that Julian and Bianca have secretly swapped out the life-saving oxygen canister to a helium canister instead just so they can pull a prank on me. Once they finally have their fill of laughing at me, I manage to hiss out, "Give… Give me… the oxygen… canister…" After Julian wipes his tears of laughter away, he waves a hand at me casually. "Oh, Bianca's physically weak, so I've given her the oxygen canister. You're a strong one—just hang in there, and it'll pass soon enough." I don't bother wasting my breath arguing with Julian. With trembling hands, I dig out a satellite phone. "Mr. Perez, someone has maliciously switched out my oxygen canister to something else. I'm suffering from a severe case of altitude sickness right now. Please arrange for a rescue team to pick me up as soon as possible."
